Core Movement Center is happy to welcome Chris Drake as a new instructor. As an occupational therapist, Chris works with a wide variety of people, assisting them to maximize their abilities. Chris also has a lifelong commitment to applying the benefits of exercise and athletics to his own life and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others
Chris will be offering a Kettlebell class on Tuesdays at 4:30, studio 2. The class will be an hour and your mat class card can be used.
I really like the kettlebells as an alternative to weights. Their design promotes strengthening but utilizes several muscle groups simultaneously which is an effective and functional approach to exercise. The class is aerobic as much as strengthening. Your core will get a huge workout as well as every other part of you!
This is considered a “mat” class. However let me know ( we will start a list) if you’re interested as I want to have enough kettlebells!
